there was talk within a thread about the Oilers love from announcers and specifically Hrudey. Watching a game the other night, Kelly felt the need on the Flames broadcast to make sure we all knew how great Skinner played the night before. Never ends

Remember when Devan Dubnyk won the Masterton because he overcame being an Oiler?
It was deemed a more impressive accomplishment than Kris Letang overcoming a stroke and 2 concussions.

This is why I'm glad the west loaded up and we helped them with that.
The Oilyaz exit needs to be even swifter than last year. Preferably 8 days.
The sooner they're golfing, the better it is for hockey.

this thread is good timing, just turned on the trade deadline show and the first thing on their were the Stanley Cup odds and shockingly the Oilers were number # 1 and all the announcers felt that was reasonable. Botterill has became another Cassie Campbell to me, doesnt add much in my opinion

Paul Bissonnette asked Colby Armstrong who the biggest frauds were. Armstrong said the Leafs to get under his skin but really he should have said the Oilers.
The amount of them saying the Oilers are their Cup favorites is ridiculous and they should be embarrassed.
