When i have seen him he seems skilled. Size and skill on wing aplenty. Keep building depth to trade for centrr

Duehr & Pelletier were scratched from today's game, so expect to see them recalled prior to Tuesday's game.

Dec. 1st:

-Kerins is third in AHL scoring, tied for first in goals, and second overall in plus/minus with 21gp/15g/7a/22pts,+13, 6 PIM. Among players in the top-20 however, he is 11th in pts/gp.

-Kuznetsov is first overall in plus/minus, with a +14. Solovyov is tied for 3rd, with +12.

-Speaking of Solovyov, he's tied for 14th in scoring by D in the AHL, with 17gp/4g/7a/11pts,+12, 6 PIM. Former WHL star Denton Mateychuk leads the league, with 22 points in 20 games. Incredible.

-Despite missing the game, Duehr is till tied for 13th in AHL scoring (and 3rd in goals) with 20gp/11g/8a/19pts,+5, 8 PIM.

-Pelletier missed the game as well, but is also tied for 13th in AHL scoring (4th in assists) with 20gp/3g/16a/19pts,+7, 4 PIM.

-Poirier has had a rather disappointing season so far, and is tied for 43rd in scoring by D, with 21gp/1g/7a/8pts,+1, 16 PIM, though he does have 5pts in his last 10 games.

-Devin Cooley is third in GAA (1.84), 1st in SV% (.940), and has a record of 12-3-0-3.

-Dryden Hunt is tied for 27th in scoring, with 19gp/3g/13a/16pts,+9, 14 PIM.

-Stromgren is tied for 41st in scoring, with 21gp/3g/12a/15pts,+2, 6 PIM. Clark Bishop is also tied for 41st in scoring (but is tied for 7th in goals), with 21gp/10g/5a/15pts,+4, 11 PIM.

-Frk has 6 points in the last 6 games, for 17gp/3g/6a/9pts,-4, 10 PIM.

-Ciona is putting together a good season, and with 5 points in his last 7 games, has totals of 17gp/2g/7a/9pts,+7, 34 PIM.

-Honzek has 2pts in his last 3 games, and now sits at 11gp/1g/4a/5pts,+2, 4 PIM.

-Hopefully, Brzustewicz's 2 points in the last 2 games are the start of good things for him. 20gp/0g/4a/4pts,-1, 2 PIM.

If Ciona can get his skating to NHL levels, he could be a decent energy line guy. Lots of positive attributes.

I think Solovyov will be ready for full time NHL duty very soon. Really liked his game when he did get his shot. Looks like he keeps improving.

I would like to see Solovyov up on the big club for sure. He deserves it.

Would also really be interested in hearing opinions on Kuznetsov and his league leading +/-. I know it's kind of a joke stat, but is he showing that defensive upside that he was drafted for? That would be very welcome, could use another giant LD who's d focused for sure.

I think Kuznetsov deserves a call up as much as anyone. He is just a solid dman who is miserable to play against and a pillar of strength and size in his own end, though not as physical as you would like when you see his size.

Perfect #5 guy on D who just doesn't make a lot of glaring mistakes like so many young guys can and do.

Personally i think he is a top 5 prospect in the Flames system but because he isnt flashy nor overly offensive minded, he gets overlooked all the time.

Trevor Janicke (F) and Charles Martin (D) were called up from Rpid City earlier this week. Doesn't look they're getting into games quite yet.
