Perez pitted to try to get fastest lap but wasn’t able to get it. A very not good day for Red Bull.

Good race. I forget what move it was, but getting a second dose of DRS after making a pass is the stupidest ####ing thing ever. I get the detection point issue, but you should simply not be allowed to deploy it if you make it to that activation point first.

I realized something else today that probably annoys me more than it should...why does the permanent tower graphic go down to thousandths? It's completely unnecessary in the race, and is actually just more cluttered and harder to read! Just give me intervals to a tenth. Use the space saved to give us tire age. And each driver's lap time (down to a tenth!) should flash up for ~5 seconds every time across the line. They flash up plenty of other graphics these days which they can do to the thousandth to show us how fancy their stopwatch is.

And bahahaha I just noticed Jo Bauer was rocking Mexican face paint in parc fermé! Brilliant!

I've hitched my cheering wagon to Lando this season, as I've been a fan of his for awhile and would love to see him win a WDC. So, needless to say, I've often been frustrated, annoyed, and sad at how some of the races have played out this season. But, also super stoked to see his and McLarens progression this season.

But I'm forcing myself to take a step back and just take in how crazy this season has been:

- Six drivers with multiple wins. (Norris, Piastri, Verstappen, Leclerc, Sainz, Hamilton).
- 3 constructors who have a legimate chance at winning the WCC.
- 3 drivers in the mix for the WDC (although, extremely tough for two of them).
- HAAS in a solid 6th place in the WCC.
- Colapinto replacing Sargeant and immeditely becoming a huge star in F1.
- Lawson coming in to replace Riciardo (boooo) and having all of South America delcare him enemy #1 (joking, but also not joking).

And other countless entertaining items. It's been a wild season. I think after it's all said and done, I'll take the winter break to go back and watch it all again to try and just re-experience the craziness.

Late results this week...but big changes at the top!!

DoubleK and Agulati take top 2 spots this week with 3 slotted and eight Top 10 correct. FurnaceFace was 3rd with 3&7.

Overall, agulati has taken over the lead by 4pts over FlamesRule

...DoubleK is only 1pt back of 2nd.

5 spot grid drop for taking a new engine. Good track to do it at since passing is good at Sao Paulo, and they can likely turn the power up for this race and the next three. Might be a wet race also, which would play into Max's hands.
