A lot of the younger players are using lighter racquets with near stock specs. Alcaraz and Rune for example are using stock current Pure Aero 98 frames and Fritz Radical MP (older gen frame with new paint job) is near stock specs as well.

That game may come back to haunt Alcaraz. No need to put all that juice into that crosscourt shot.

Easy for me to say, but I was expecting the lob as Novak was so close to the net.

Given how good Alcaraz is I would argue that it is easy to say. Looks like he's decided to take it to Novak with pace now up 0-30.

That's a shame Charlie missed that final shot, what hustle and defense he displayed on that point.

How are Zverev and Ruud going to match the quality of this match?

Narrator: They won't

Let's just agree to make this a best of 11 sets match and flip a coin to see who wins the other match today

Charlie wasn't going to let another three set points slip away. All level.

So Charlie is going to concede a game to get treatment, since it's not a changeover.

Is it a cramp? It looks like a knee issue.

If he's going to break down better now than in a final I guess.

Charlie barely moving out there at the moment. This set is essentially done and dusted.

Crazy how certain players cramp. Has the big 3 cramped ever?
