An interesting technical shot . . . . . . . an uncooperative subject (dog), a heavy wind (last Thursday), tall grass prairie and sunny . . . . . . so, we go to 100 ISO to limit light coming into the camera, open the shutter to only 1/10th of a second to let the light back in. Pan the dog to freeze her in place while the slow shutter speed allows for large movement in the grass and the background.
Voila.

Abby turns into a gale-force wind on a trek up to Hailstone Butte Fire Station yesterday . . . . . it got so bad at one point on the descent that I looked back to see her being blown inexoribly towards a cliff edge and had to anchor her to me with a leash.
