Ducks Free Agency Summary
The Ducks went into Free Agency with over 11M in cap space and some holes to fill in the line-up, after moving a number of key RFA's.
We lucked out and managed to have a successful free agency with what we think are some good contracts:
Marc-Andre Fleury, 36yrs old - 90 OVR, $4.45M over 3 years
Nikita Zaitsev, 29yrs old - 70 OVR (79 DF, 73 PA), $1.63M over 3 years
Zach Parise - 36yrs old - 70 OVR (72 PA, 75 SC) $1.49M over 3 years
Travis Zajac - 36yrs old - 69 OVR (70 PA, 87 FO, 84 DF) $1.12M over 3 years
These deals should be fine long term, and if the player goes completely sideways, will be cheap enough to buy out.
We are almost ready for the season to start...would still look at some upgrades.
