I've definitely been wrapped up in all the talent AEW is touting these days. I was ready to write WWE off because of how bad things are, forgetting how much I enjoy the New Day, or Roman, or Drew. I just don't have enough time in the week to watch it all. I definitely don't have time to sort through the stuff I don't like from either company.

I watched it and was surprised at how bad the incident really was. I had heard about a couple of the events but hearing about some of the other events caught me off guard. But knowing what we know now about some of the wrestlers it seems fitting things went the way they did. What really got me was how Vince handled the whole situation, can’t believe he sent Jim Ross to handle it. At least some good came out of it with Wellness program.

Now this I can get behind, and keeps Owen Hart's legacy in the mainstream wrestling scene. Also, the Owen Hart Cup Tournament? HELL YES!

They just seem to get it right on stuff like this. Helps that Tony Khan was such a fan growing up and it's a.passion

It's so weird to me that WWE seems to really hate it's history, and it's position in "Professional Wrestling".

You have all these guys in AEW that are doing such a good job of honoring the history of the business (even the little things like Punk vs Darby taking spots from 123 Kid vs Bret Hart), and really trying to call back to the 80s/90s/early 00s of professional wrestling.

And then you have Vince who was responsible for those era's but it almost seems like he resents that era of wrestling and his own companies history in professional wrestling.

Vince puts TV networks on the same, if not higher footing, than paid fans buying tickets and merchandise. His product is sports entertainment, not professional wrestling at this point.

When she took that long break she was dealing with serious mental health issues. Maybe she's still working through them.

Just from some stories posted she's not fun to be around in the locker room either.

I expect though part of it is she's sitting out her contract.

I'd rather have Bayley come back now she was at the height of her career when she went down and probably the best female heel out there.

I was surprised by this. I thought that Martha Hart hated wrestling. Perhaps that is true but the largest part of her resentment comes from WWE. I think this allows her husband to be honored and still not have anything to do with WWE.

She was pretty clear that she hated the industry (Can't really blame her). She insisted that Owen hated wrestling and life on the road. So to me this seems a bit cynical.

Look I'm happy that Owen is getting recognition, and being remembered, but it kind of feels like a bit of weaponization of Owen.

I wonder if Bret was involved or had any comments. Oh wait, Martha cut him off, after the lawsuit was settled, though Bret had supported her throughout.

Also

Dreamer was removed as the cohost of busted open radio over his comments in the Dark Side of the ring doc.

There was talk she was supposed to return on the MSG Smackdown but that obviously didn't happen. Maybe she comes back this weekend and costs Bianca the title against Becky.

That was an amazing main event tonight.

WWE needs to start building on things that work. Still to much chaff tonight.

Alexa Bliss seems to be heading back to being the mean girl tonight. Charlotte wants the old Alexa back and is going to beat some sense into her.

I don’t know…they were one week into the fued between these three and they gave it away as a free unadvertised match on Raw.

Feel like Bloodline vs New Day should have been the move…

It’s too bad WWE threw away The Hurt Business for no reason.

New Day vs Hurt Business vs Bloodline would be great right now

Classy letter from Daniel Bryan to the WWE and its fans.

Just watching now…but Arthur Ashe stadiums feels like a good call.

Maybe it’s just the fans intensity but feels like the lower bowl is tighter to the action because it’s a tennis stadium and not a basketball or hockey rink.

Also I feel like CM Punk maybe got more of the attention…but IMO Daniel Bryan is the bigger acquisition.

I like punk but I think bryan and cole are much bigger gets at this point. Bryan is the most over person in wrestling in the last two decades, and cole is only 32 and already main event level on mic and in ring

In regards to the show

Just give those two 60 minutes at full gear ir whenever they go next, that was incredible

Cody is getting the roman/cena heat from the crowds now, hes gotta get turned heel fast, his entrance got almost no pop, brandi got a louder one

Was first time sting looked his age since hes been in AEW

The Sting match was weird because it was the opposite of how you should be using Sting. I feel like he had way more ring time than Darby last night, and was asked to carry the load in that match.

Danielson vs Omega was a great hard hitting match…really liked that they saved all the finishers too. Bryan never locked in the Labelle Lock or really hit his running knee clean, Omega didn’t hit the one winged angel.

Also props to AEW for putting their Women’s title match in the main event slot on their biggest TV show ever. I was a little worried that Cody vs Black would be on last when Omega kicked the show off.

Catching up on earlier in the week Reigns-Big E-Lashley was a great match too and really good quality from those guys. Good physical match and probably not far off the quality of Danielson vs Omega.

It's the fact that there's a legit competition for who's on top now that we got omega v Bryan and new day v the bloodline for free on tv within 48 hours

Hope this continues, no more saving stuff, both companies going all out
