Default Running Parallels on a Boot Camp Partition

Hello wise tech members of CP

Relatively new Macbook owner here. I am trying to run parallels on a boot camp windows XP partition. I can get it to start up but it then asks me to reactivate my copy of Windows (due to major changes in the hardware structure or something).

My version of windows only allows for one activation (yes it is a legit copy). Did some reading on the internet, but couldn't find a solution. Does anyone here have any experience with this type of situation?

Thanks in advance
