A Riders fan declaring the Stamps reign atop the west ends? Shocker.

Highest paid QB in the league that hasn't won a game he's started in almost two years. He was awful last season and the Cats were instantly better after a QB change. He was very good in 2015 but it's a matter of seeing if he can be salvaged as he was seeing ghosts in the pocket panicking from pressure that wasn't there. Never a good sign for a QB. Kind of surprised the Cats could fetch a 2nd round pick for a player they were going to have to cut.

Better hope he can't be salvaged.

Why? He's never beaten the Stamps as a starter for the Ti-Cats or Argos when he was good.

Don't kid yourself; the Riders are building a strong team. I hate them so that's hard to admit.

I think Zylstra has a shot at making the Vikings next season...

Receiver Brandon Zylstra is set to sign with Minnesota’s NFL team, according to Andrew Krammer of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

So the Lions' failure means the same for the Riders?

I hope you're right and I'm wrong.

Does it really matter how the Stamps do in the regular season? They will just choke in the big game with Dickenson at the helm.

Thielen, Diggs, Wright, Treadwell and Floyd. Tough squad to crack.

May be able to work his way onto the roster via Specials - much like Thielen did.

They were ten yards from the endzone when the Jorden fumbled the ball for no reason. And then the quarterback got yippy about the prospect of going to OT, and decided to lose the game in regulation.

Totally Dickenson's fault.

More QB news. Argos and James Franklin agree to 2 year deal.

@TSNDaveNaylor:
The @TorontoArgos deal with QB James Franklin is for 2 years and allows them $$ room to bring back Ricky Ray. Franklin to arrive in T.O. today for a medical before deal becomes official. #CFL #Argos

I wouldn’t mind having Glenn here as a backup in Calgary. If Bo gets hurt we are screwed. Buckley coildn’t couldnt complete a ten yard pass to save his life.

Darian Durant was scheduled to receive a bonus of at least $100k on Monday.

@HerbZurkowsky1:
It really does seem like the #Als have backed @darian_dd4 into a take-it-or-leave-it option. No bonus this Monday, it appears. A restructured contract or his outright release.

I would sign Glenn as the backup, cut Buckley and bring in another young QB to groom as the 3rd guy. The only difference between Moniz and Buckley (they are both terrible passers) is their passport (makes for a nice story) and since there's no ratio benefit of keeping a Canadian QB I think it's time the team moves on from this experiment.

I don't get why Manziel's agent thinks his clients deserves a big contract. CFL is Manziel's best option to get back to NFL. Right now no NFL won't even attempt to sign the guy. If Manziel have success in the CFL, some of the NFL teams might consider signing him after his CFL contract.

Johnny football has always been entitled, his family has money, he received big money when drafted, that's all he knows. He doesn't even think that he would need to prove himself, after all he is Johnny football. Doesn't surprise me. When Flutie came to the league, he came to prove himself and work hard, Manziel, I don't see that.
