At the end of the day, he's probably the best overall defenseman that the Oilers have.
Oscar Klefbom - He got a lot of hype from his season a couple of years ago, but then went back to being the indecisive blunderpuss that we all know and love. He's a second pairing guy, I don't think he's ever going beyond that, and that's not bad.
Adam Larsson - I actually like this kid, last year he wasn't as good positionally as he was the year before. He has absolutely no offensive instincts. He's that guy that you put with an error prone guy to cover up his blunders, but he can't play on all three pairs for the Oilers. I still think on most teams in the NHL he's a second pairing guy.
Kris Russell - Weak along the boards, and bad positioning lead to his shock blocking stats. He can contribute offensively, but he's not really a quarterback, more of a shot. Honestly if he's playing above the third pairing on your team, your either a expansion team with a particularly stupid GM, or just have nothing on the blueline.
Graval - who?
Benning - He's a 7th defenseman that brings not a lot of anything to the table.
Nurse - I still think he's got too much of Dion Phaneuf's bad hockey instincts when it comes to positioning and chasing. Offensively he's got a great shot, but he's not a pp QB by any stretch. He's got a good physical game but at times lacks discipline. On the Oilers he's probably going to be their top pairing guy, anywhere else he's a really good second pairing guy.
Jesus, when you actually look at that blueline, its worse then I thought.
