I like the top end of the roster:
Mangiapane - Jankowski - Foo
Dube - Ruzicka - Phillips
Valimaki - Andersson
Healey - Ollas Mattsson
Parsons

Yep, that first line and top defense pair are all NHL-caliber players, some of whom are already NHL-ready. They should be pretty dominant.
That said, this tournament matters less for those kinds of guys than invitees or freshly drafted players hoping to establish themselves in the organization. Kind of similar to NHLers going at 50% at the very start of training camp -- no need to push yourself too soon. Janko is not going to win or lose a spot based on Penticton.

On the eve of the tournament so I figured maybe put the rosters for the other teams in here as well
Canucks
Oilers
Jets
The prospect the Canucks got back in the Burrows trade (Dahlen) will miss because of mono.
I think the cut off for this must be 25 NHL games because PullmyRV isn't there.

Lots of activity as WinSport this morning. Rookies are getting physicals done, the head shots with jerseys are taking place as well. All the usual stuff. Now that everyone's signed the excitement is high.

Or the Oilers told him he could choose to skip the tournament because of his awesomeness. The Oilers are excellent at handling their prospects.

Or because they're intensely concerned about optics, and if he doesn't dominate they'll be all embarrassed. Or about his confidence if he doesn't dominate.

Aaron Vickers @AAVickers
Rasmus Andersson comes into rookie camp at 211 pounds. That's down from roughly 220-222 he figures. #Flames
Sean Kelso @kelsohockey
Great to see @RAndersson19 all trimmed down and ready for camp. What an off season for him.

Found it referenced in an Edmonton Journal article that the threshold is 100 professional games. In the article they say the games he (Puljujarvi) played in Finland count. Which is odd since AOM has over 100 games if you include games played in Sweden. Makes it look like he is eligible but they don't want him there.

Yes considering he was blasted by the team for fitness the past two training camps, very good sign that the message got through and commitment levels are there.

I know in past years some of the opposition teams seem to play it on Youtube live which is then immediately archived for regular viewing via Youtube.
Not sure if that will be this year or not but I'd assume it would remain the same.

Yeah the Canucks are up with the times and stream via youtube. And the OIlers do provide great coverage as well, more on the prospect spotlight side but they're incredibly fair for this tournament

Weird, the Flames site needs to update that, they have Adirondak as their Affiliate still.
