Default Converting Grandfather's 16mm Film

Hello, does anybody have any experience with services in Calgary that can convert 16mm film to digital?

We are looking to preserve and show my grandfather his wedding which he hasn't seen in 50 years.

I would first contact Ty at https://tyreynoldsvideoservices.com/

I went to high school with Ty. After high school he got a job with CBC Calgary in the 1970s. When he left CBC, I think he bought a lot of CBC Calgary's legacy media equipment and went into archive services.

I have had lots of positive experiences with Calgary Custom Photo Services out of their North Hill location:

Costco also does this.

Thanks, I had heard about costco, but I was wondering if someone who has done this for years and is familiar with older technology would be more conscious of his art versus Costco as a service.

Lots of success at Costco. Good quality and price. Very happy with DVDs of my family’s old home movies.

Take it to someone that understands film, understanding only video doesn't help.

This. Even if they didn't ruin your original film, I highly doubt the color or sound quality would be correct. And eff Costco.
