BTW, if you don't know who Steve Schmidt is, he's a long-time Republican election strategist. His biggest claim to "fame" was pushing for John McCain to select Sarah Palin as his running mate. What does it say about Trump when that guy goes off on a rant like that?
I get a sense that Trump is going to be really embarrassed in this election. It seems like it will be a large and easy victory for Biden. I look forward to the ongoing meltdown over the next three weeks and the subsequent theatrics after the election.
We hear from the White House and the campaign everyday. They are betraying you. They are looking to get out alive and salvage careers and their names. It’s Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner vs. Donald Trump Jr., and Kimberly Guilfoyle on the inside. They are at war over scraps and who gets to command what will be the remnants of your rancid cult.

Not that I disagree with the message here, but that's really rich coming from one of the chief proponents of the senseless 2003 Iraq War, another example of something most Americans claim to have never supported in hindsight even though a majority most definitely did at the time.

Played by Woody Harrelson in the HBO movie about McCain/Palin. Called Game Change.
Excellent movie by the way. Remember when she was the gold standard for bat#### crazy candidates? Ahh, those were the days.

This Twitter thread alone was worth signing up for Twitter 9 years ago. My ony debate now is whether to share this on Facebook where my obnoxiously vocal Trump-worshipping step-father in law will undoubtedly see it and melt down in similar Trumpian fashion, mumbling about Hilary and the emails and Obama. I'm honestly at a loss as to what to do here.

"Anyone else who recklessly squandered lives and money in this way would be suffering legal consequences. Our leaders have largely claimed immunity for their actions. But this election gives us the power to render judgment," the editorial says. "When it comes to the response to the largest public health crisis of our time, our current political leaders have demonstrated that they are dangerously incompetent. We should not abet them and enable the deaths of thousands more Americans by allowing them to keep their jobs."
