My goodness, Mirra Andreeva is a heck of a player. Even if she loses this match to Sabalenka (she just lost the first set in a tie-break), she is going to win multiple slams, it's just a matter of time.

Andreeva wins set 2 6-4 breaking the Sabalenka serve. She has a real chance to win this match.

Andreeva does it winning in three sets. Incredible tennis from the 17 year old.

Very interesting for Milos to not use his PR for Wimbledon but qualify instead.

Bah, De Minaur had a 4-zip lead in the second set tie-break and loses the tie-break 7-5. I was worried about this, I wish it was Meddy who was playing Zverev right now, the Russian knows how to get under Zverev's skin.

de Minaur has a bit of that Rublev vibe where he's good enough to consistently beat players below him in the rankings but lacks the elite game to beat the players ahead of him.

Where have you seen this? I would be shocked if that was the case given he is apparently playing in the 250 Libema event next week.
This would mean he's skipping Halle/Queens altogether the following week in order to hopefully get through quallies and put more wear and tear on his body.
Edit: I see the post a few pages back on how he is using his last two PR spots at Queens and Libema. Wow. Here's hoping he can pick up enough points on the grass to get himself back into the top 50 or he is going to have to rely on WC entries to get into a lot of events the rest of the year.

His biggest issue is also Leylah's biggest issue as both of them are unable to get free points on their serve.

I read that he has among the highest break and get broken percentages on tour. He’s like a lighter framed Ferrer, amazing tenacity and squeezing everything he can out of the limited physical tools given.

Iga is into her 4th French Open final and is the 2nd youngest woman to reach 4 RG finals (Steffi Graf is the youngest).

Not sure if anyone heard the commotion in the crowd in the crowd early in the second set, but people in my section were yelling at some of the obnoxious VIPs would were extremely loud. Was pretty funny.

Not sure why morons need to yell right before a player serves. Just STFU no one cares.
and this Iga match was prob the first full tennis match I have watched since Roger retired..

Iga is to Coco what Roger was to Roddick. Just a terrible matchup for her.

Yeah, some people are out there saying is that what Maria felt when she played Serena?!? I'm thinking it might be worse for Coco, I think she'll have better chances on hard courts, but that forehand is still very problematic.

Iga is a mental challenge just as much as game. Any time Coco got into a big situation she made poor decisions. Iga only seems to make those mistakes when it didn't matter. Fun day, I'll write more when I get a chance, but I enjoyed myself even if I still haven't seen a grand slam match go past the minimum amount of sets.

The women's final will be Iga vs. Jasmine Paolini - It appeared to me that Mirra hit the wall physically today as she played well below the level she usually brings to the table. That said, a fantastic French Open run for the 17 year old.
