Stealing gas is my guess. There was a huge puddle under the truck so I did a quick check underneath. The gas cap was removed and there is about 1/2 inch hole drilled into the front corner of the gas tank. I assume they drilled the hole and opened the gas cap to let it siphon quickly. It was a full tank so what ever they didn’t catch drained o to the ground.

Thanks. I thought it was a leak of some sort and I did a quick google search and drilled gas tank is what came up. I had never heard of that either. The tow truck driver said it’s becoming more common.
