Continuing to do business in Russia was bad enough, but now this? For shame, Mondelēz. For shame.

That said... the white elephant gift giving, with a very clearly defined max amount of ... say ~$25 or $35 with a family or larger group (~12people) has always been entertaining, fun, and a great reason to have a pot luck where everyone goes home with a container of leftovers.
We save the gift cards they give us and give it back to them the next year.

Where does the power go from a USB-C portable charger when it discharges over time? It doesn't have any sort of lights or displays for phantom draw. I had it at 100% when I left for vacation and a week later it is at 3% and hasn't been used at all. This is pretty useless for emergency situations if it can't hold a charge anymore.

Sounds defective to me, I have a 20,000 mAh USB-C powerbank with a display (not always on, but you can press a button to view it) and I haven't touched it in probably a month and a half if not longer. It's still sitting at 100%.

Here's todays GG.

Toilet paper rolls that have the starting end super glued to the roll resulting in you having to rip into 2-3 layers to get the damn thing started.

Bonus gear grinding when you are doing it a 3 am, still kinda drunk and trying not to wake the wife...

Potentially, I bought it two years ago for a Disney trip and I haven't really used it very often or paid attention to it. When I was using it for Disney it worked great.

Stop stealing rolls from hotel rooms and gas station bathrooms.

The terrorists win when you capitalize the word “terrorists.”

I put up with a large crack in my wife's SUV's windshield for the better part of 2 years.

1 month ago, I finally decided to get it replaced.

Today, a passing semi just put 2 massive chips and a crack in it...

Is the semi driver still alive?

Sadly, I was not with my wife at the time to give chase, and she was pretty shaken up and had to pull over to calm down, so they got away with their life.

We had an incident driving up to Edmonton for my kid's hockey tournament where I started to pass a semi a little bit south of Leduc and it managed to kick up a rock that smashed our passenger side rear window (the one beside the third row of seats in an SUV.) It was pretty crazy and fortunately the glass stayed together either out of luck or because it was laminated. As a temporary fix a glass shop in Leduc was able to put a plastic film over the outside to keep it from falling apart until we got back to Calgary on the following Monday.

I was able to check the SUV this morning (she got home late last night). Two rocks were put into the windshield so hard that they were nearly through it. There was glass all over her dash and (empty at the time) passenger seat. Two large chunks missing out of both sides of the windshield. There is a small chip (a third) at about eye level on the driver's side. There is also a massive divot in the front bumper, which probably only isn't a hole due to the 3M treatment.

Gears are quite ground about this.

Did you previously replace the windshield with OEM glass or aftermarket? I've heard that aftermarket glass can be much lower quality so I wonder if that contributed (if you went that route)?

Hm, it's possible. I have stopped going to the dealership for service, but have used the same aftermarket windshield specialist for multiple vehicles now and never really had an issue with glass quality (at least, so far as I can tell, but I'm no expert, by any means).
