Lucic is a bum I don't think it would tear the dressing room apart. Getting a speedy goal scoring winger should make the locker room happier, getting a productive winger and not someone who wastes 12 minutes a night.

Might be the perfect way to help the on ice game.
And last I saw, hockey is played on ice, not in the dressing room.

Imagine shipping Lucic and Dube out and getting Duclair and Bennett back as return
HA!

Never liked that narrative. its been used for almost 2 decades now to argue against trades that could improve the team. Feel like it obfuscated the real issue around that trade which was "did we really need to add another top 4 defender" when the team probably could have used a top 6 forward instead.
As for the room. The org exposed the long time captain to expansion draft, the UFAs and trade acquisitions have been part of orgs like TB and Colorado and Florida that have been equally ruthless.

I'd rather have winning team that doesn't like each other than a happy team that can't win.

Games are won on the ice not in the dressing room.

We don't want Duclair here- he's an extremely one-dimensional player, he's smallish, and he's soft. Very much reminds me of Sonny Milano-Sutter would have him for breakfast.

I want Duclair here! But perhaps I'm on my own with that ... he was dynamite with Huberdeau last year. Think he's underrated. And there's a guy who's excellent in the community, too.

Would love Duclair here if we can make it work. He's more than a good forward for the Flames, he may very well be the catalyst to kickstart our $10.5AAV asset.

None of what you said applies to Duclair. Comparing him to Milano is absurd.

Both are 6'0", both are speedy, both seem to be perimeter players, both play so-so defensively, both can score goals in the right situation, with the right players.
So you disagree with my comparison, then accuse me of being racist? Where are the Mods????? I've never been so pissed in my life!

Seriously, something better be done about this, or I’m signing off of CP for good! I don’t take that garbage lightly!
