Also, why bring the OIlers up? Leave em in the dust like our team has. I swear to god, the only place I keep hearing about the Oilers is here. They're irrelevant.

Solid game by Prout (15 mins of ice) on a short notice, Ryan and Smith.
I can honestly say I didn't notice Prout once on the ice. That's a good thing.

Like I said, Smith has done well but Rittich needs to play soon. Besides, he plays very well when he isnt the clear #1 option.

If we had time to call up Valimaki and he’d gone instead of Prout...wow. We’d have 4 defenseman 22 years and younger in the lineup. Pretty crazy.

love Raz. Seamlessly stepped up into a bigger role, got two assists ... future is bright with all those young defensemen. Thought Prout did well too. Happy for Czarnik to get back-to-back goals after being in the press box for so long. Ryan continues to impress. Depth scoring is key right now, it's great to see that they continue to score goals and win games despite Gaudreau and Monahan not being at their best right now.

pretty professional performance all around.

The Coyotes are 7-2-1 against pacific division teams. Those 2 losses? Calgary. #### you Calgary.
Keep it up, doggos. Your wins against everyone else will be valuable to us.

Bad news: We play 3 straight games the night after Calgary plays that team (Yotes, Islanders, and Ducks). Not good for the yearly tank job
I like that this no longer bothers me in the slightest. They'll be in tough to beat even tired teams.

Maybe a little off topic, but why did they start Pickard against you guys? I have Kuemperon my fantasy team and started him today thinking he would play against the Flames and the Oilers would get Pickard.

Save the better goalie for their more direct competition?

New NHL way of thinking. Start your backup against the stronger team on a back to back and hope for the best. Put in your better goalie against the weaker team to get the guaranteed points
