Just got my first shot last Friday so I am calling it the E group, but moving to the B group due to the Delta.

Oh posted in the other thread but definitely B.

Parents are pretty cautious though -- probably A.

Currently a 'C' but could be borderline 'B' if things deteriorate.

Tough to call. Definitely "B" but closer to A than C. I don't want a lockdown and agree with relaxing restrictions as much as we can...while keeping the potentially high impact and low cost things like indoor masking everywhere and pushing like hell to get everyone vaccinated up to and including restrictions for those who are not. Keep testing going at least so that people can make informed decisions for their own activity/exposure levels.

I feel like schools going back with zero restrictions and inability for kids to get the vaccine is folly and will drive a big wave in the fall. I am for sure more cautious than the average B person though as I regularly see my immuno compromised parents who haven't been able to enjoy the opening up as much and do not want to be the person who exposes them to Delta.

Just a quick reminder to everybody who says they are an A or B (which seems to be a lot of us) -- there are things you can do now before the last of the COVID measures are removed.

1) Protests are still happening on the daily and broadcasted nightly on the news. Show up and make your support known. 12pm-1pm Downtown Calgary at McDougal Centre.

2) Send an email or phone Kenney, your MLA, federal members of parliament, school boards, etc.

3) Sign the online petition to keep COVID protections here: https://www.projectcalgary.org/keep_covid_protections

If you are somewhat to extremely concerned, and in favour of moderate restrictions you are probably in the majority. The government moves to zero restrictions in two weeks time as they are catering to the C/D group. Now is the time to act. Now is the time to make your voice heard.

Pretty much B with a little bit of C. Favour restrictions on the un-vaccinated.

C but not militant about it. Have faith in vaccinations and the direction from Hinshaw.

C, Vaccines are freely available, if this isn't your endpoint then what is?

I'm in "B" and have no patience for those who could be vaccinated and aren't.

A community with a low number of cases. Vaccines aren't perfect, so I'd rather not put myself in a test situation every time I go somewhere.

See the problem is when you see rising cases in Australia, and here. In our case we have a large percentage vaccinated and still have rising cases. Australia doesn’t have as large a percentage vaccinated, but much stricter lockdowns and they’re seemingly not able to control this.

So, seriously, the options get pretty limited. If we need 95% vaccinated before we can have zero restrictions then it’s never happening.

To me, aside from just opening everything and trusting that enough people are vaccinated so as to keep case numbers (and more importantly hospitalizations and ICU admissions) from overwhelming the system, the one solution is a vaccine passport. I’m only sort of in favour of these though, because the idea that “you need your papers” to do things is rather authoritarian.

I don’t think anyone has said there has to be 95%
People are advocating for pretty basic steps

Well the target was 70%, and we’ve exceeded that. I think we’re at ~76%? So, what’s the target percentage?
