This is a dice role. DeBrusk has had a poor year and his rerate might drop, but I'm rolling a dice on youth. Graves vs Ferraro is tough, but Ferraro is young defenseman and his re rate should be decent, As well this solves two contract issues.

Lundestrom is an allaround two-way player, who is going to get minutes in Anaheim, because they are horrible. Kylington is one of my favorite project players, so giving up project Samington for project Kylett. That's why I did it.

Capitals have acquired Mark "getting better with age" Giordano from the Blue Jackets for Patrick Nemeth, Steven Lorentz, 2021 2nd WSH.

Cap was equalized and also this trade satisfies an earlier condition that the Capitals owed the BlueJackets a 2021 2nd.

Probably will regret the contract on Gio but we are taking a chance on Gio bouncing back. Hope it works out for both teams

You always have room for a high contract here or there, as long as you don't go adding on a bunch of overpaid players.... it shouldn't be a problem

Finally got a deal done with Summer, albeit a smaller one. Couple pending UFAs as cheap depth, might have been able to get a bit more if I put them on the block earlier but I was risking it for the final playoff push.
