Less than 9 mins in and the Sharks have a 3-0 lead before the Canucks have registered a single shot on goal.

The Flames will have two games in hand. It won’t be a permanent move.

The Flames broke Markstrom.

Because Hart was at minimum a professional player before his NHL debut and not an emergency recall?

Flames need to improve their overall team defensive play, immensely, if they want to continue to hang with the big boys.

Sharks have been better in that area and it is the major reason they are knocking on the door.

Sounds like an injury...likely a bruised chest in the shape of an orca logo.

Can't really fault them in that case

Horvat gets one before the end of the period. Down 3-1 after 20 minutes.

It’s their own fault, they had TWO professional goalies under contract. None of the goalies in Utica are Canucks property.

Benning is good at drafting but the details part of the job are too bothersome for him.

Flames in tough to get any points tomorrow night. As much as I hate the Sharks they are playing better right now and are full marks for the division lead.

I wonder how many consecutive days they led the division and conference.

Would be neat to see.

TWO games in hand. TWO. They may not win tomorrow, but I do not see them dropping four straight.

This is the most difficult part of the Flames schedule, with March looking much easier. If they slip a bit in the next two weeks, I’m not especially worried. They are a better team than the Sharks.

Ladies and gents, the Canucks without jedi-level goaltending.

Give the Sharks two freebie points, why don't you. Useless mounds of suck!

2 games in hand again. But yes, annoying that they closed what was an 8 point gap what seems like just yesterday.

The Flames will still be first on points%. The NBA does this, why not the NHL? Its silly to put teams ahead in the standings because they have played more games.
