Ah, the Oilers. They never disappoint, do they?

Connor “second star” McDavid does it again.

McDavid's defensive effort on that OT goal was a sight to behold.

What a leader.

And yet they've won 7 in a row. They've dug themselves a deep hole, but they're making a strong charge for the playoffs.

Carter Hart has quite literally become their savior. I'm a tad envious watching him play.

The Oilers will be 4 points out after tonight in any event. It's a beautiful thing to watch them dig their hole.

Flyers are have amazing individual pieces. Their 3rd line for a time was Simmonds-Patrick-JVR. Nice to see them all chip in and finally get results. PP is finally working; goaltending is fixed; PK improving. They likely won't make the playoffs because of the hole they dug, but they look to be really strong next year.

The Habs lose in overtime to the Devils 3-2. Nico Hischier scored the tying and winning goals. Niemi was in net for the Habs as they play again tomorrown and Price will be in net. It is very tight in the eastern conference as the single point puts the Habs three points up on the eighth place Blue Jackets, five points separates second to eighth place!

The flip side is that the Oilers penalty killing was atrocious, the Flyers scored four power play goals on five opportunities. They also had three power play chances and no goals.

If you didn't see it, go watch the ceremonial puck drop at the Leafs game. Great move by the Leafs, as much as we love to hate on them.
