I love Frolik but trading him this off season might not be a bad move

This team is too good to have marginal players become demanding when it comes to playing time.
Maybe its just his agent, I would find out. If Frolik feels the same way I would help him pack. He can go to LV, he is good at setting up big goals for them

Fro has a 10 team no trade list as well. I'm guessing he gets dealt sooner rather than later.

Isn't he a UFA this summer?

I thought Frolik also had very strong advanced stats.
Frolik is a pro. He would be a great addition to a young team or team on the upswing.
Quite frankly he'd be a solid addition to the Oilers or Canucks.

Has legalized pot made everyone crazy? He is our 5th leading goal scorer (having played part of the season) and a lynchpin that makes both Backlund and Chucky better...
Neal
Bennett
Czarnik
Ryan
(In that order)
Need to be healthy scratches and/or traded before Frolik

Your issue is with Peters. No one else. Coaches and players don't jive sometimes. This may be one of those times.

I love Frolik, always have, but if there truly is bad blood here lets get rid of it.
Anyones issue with Frolik likely comes from his 4+ mil contract, not the player itself. I'm not one to cast away depth for the sake of it, I still defend Stone's position on this team for example, but if Frolik feels the same as his agent Tkachuk could sure use that cap space this summer

He's got one more year on his deal but the salary drops to $3 million. I don't see him traded until the offseason unless this becomes a distraction which would be disappointing. Team is doing well and it's kind of selfish to complain about getting scratched a couple of times.

Czarnik has been scratched multiple times (without issues)
Ryan has been better than Frolik overall IMO
He is an average player...IF one scratch is going to make him cry (assuming its not just the agent) he can GTFO is the point.
Team doesn't need players like that...and his goal total is a little inflated

Yeah at one point didn't Frolik have like 7g and 0 assists this season and 4 of those 7 goals were EN's?
Peters has used Fro sparingly TBH all season. Even before his injury. I swear he was a healthy scratch before then as well.

The reality is that Frolik has declined into a fourth line player. If he wants to remain on a good hockey club, he needs to embrace that role. If he truly wants to play on the third line, he can accept a trade to a bottom feeder.

Unfortunate turn of events. Walsh is forcing Treliving's hand here.
Frolik has some value, but this as close to a trade request without calling it a trade request. Hard to get equal value in return now.

This will almost be a blessing if Frolik wants out.

Just once I'd like to see the media ask a player about something like this, and the player replies,"Who said that? Oh. Yeah, well he's not my agent any longer."
