Lol, that makes the loss a little easier to stomach with the oilers getting their ass beat

Takes a lot of the sting out of a bad night for the Flames when the Oilers drop one against a(nother) basement dweller.

The only question that remains is how many Oilers will be among the three stars in a 4-1 loss?

McDavid will get at least 2nd star.

Anaheim blows it in the last minute, Oilers do what they do best, yup, not a bad night considering a loss

Not a bad OOT, only the Sharks make up ground on the Flames. Oilers losing big makes it even sweeter

So the Oilers lose by three goals and the "controversial goal" will be the big topic of discussion around the Oilers.

Can't just accept they were beaten

Gudbranson with a cheap upper cut on Martel in a scrum. Doesn't even get a penalty.

The 3rd could be very ugly.

Paquette with a high hit on Petterson and now more scrums.

Quite the animosity for two teams that see each other very much.

What happened with Gourde? Isn’t he a tiny guy? Boxscore showing a fight with Roussel who is a tough bugger, but also showing a game misconduct. Lil fella must have been pissed.

It was weirdly chippy before, but the martel elbow on stetcher and the refs not tossing him guaranteed this waa coming

Yeah if they're not going to call those plays you'll get stuff like this.

Martel and Paquette will both be targets in the 3rd.

Haven't really watched Vasilevsky this year but man is he good.

Hopefully he gets the night off Thursday as I can't see him playing all 4 games on this road trip.

Martel better keep his head on a swivel in the 3rd period.

If only the sharks lost too. Would've completely taken the sting out of the evening. Preds dropped theirs as well.

Any bets that Khaira doesn't even serve a game suspension for a dirty cross check to the head? If it was a Flame? 2 games minimum, more likely 5.

He got 5 and a game and Dunn didn't leave the game. No way the NHL suspends him.

Like Kunitz, should be a suspension but when you get the boot from the game and the player you hit isn't hurt long-term the NHL turns a blind eye.
