If you guys don't like messy time travel plots, don't watch Godzilla vs King Ghidorah (the 90's one). They go back in time to erase Godzilla (and secretly create King Ghidorah), then when they travel back forward in time, everybody is just like "Oh yeah, Godzilla just disappeared and King Ghidorah just randomly appeared!" -- the entire timeline in between remains the same, the alteration only affects from the time they left...?

I mean, I know these old Godzilla movie plots are mostly nonsense and just excuses to have guys in cool monster suits beat each other up and blow up some model buildings, but still.

I was honestly more comfortable watching The Room than watching Room. Just the most depressing movie that still haunts my dreams.

Yup, stunned silence in my theatre as well, followed by applause after the credits rolled. Might be the best movie I've seen so far this year.

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society is an excellent movie. Just added to Netflix. Highly recommend.

WWII era movies are always favourites of mine.

Watched the new Mission Impossible today, and while it was good I don't get the hype that is surrounding it. I didn't find it much better/different than the other recent MI movies, and it was a lot more predictable this time around as I figured out the twists pretty early on. Still a good action flick, but I woun't rate it the best of the series

Sorry didn’t mean to spoil anything. Don’t think I did but if I did I apologize.

People actually enjoy films and books more if they've been "spoiled", as per studies.

This recent hysteria over spoilers is dumb.

Also, spoilers are a thing for maybe like six months after something is new. After that it's just discussion.

Really? I would never have guessed that. I hate spoilers, I want that punch at the end of the movie.

I wonder if that's a symptom of society today and how no one seems to be able to wait for anything. Instant gratification and all that.

Shoot when I was younger you didn't even know a certain movie was being made til you saw the trailer. The thrill of seeing a trailer for a movie you had no idea was coming but that you were pumped about was pretty cool.

I actually had that with MI-5, I had no idea they were making it and I saw the trailer a couple months before and almost cheered when the trailer came on. Lol.

even if this is true, it's common courtesy to allow people to choose whether they want spoilers or not. if they come out with a study tomorrow about how people actually prefer the taste of tarantula meat over beef, that doesn't mean everyone should automatically receive spider kabobs whenever they order the ribeye steak.

the "hysteria" is over dumbasses that think it's hilarious to spew out spoilers whether they're wanted or not, and taking the choice away entirely.

It was nothing major. The movie is far from ruined. But it was enough that I don't want to know. Even just knowing that something shocking happens at the end of the movie to leave everyone speechless is enough of a spoiler for me.

The Meg was actually pretty decent and fun. Jason Statham is good at what he does. My son loved it too.

Just finished watching Crazy Rich Asians. That was one of the better rom/com's I've seen in a while.

As far as Rob Zombie films go “31” pretty much sucked. Really quite boring for what it could have been. Would not recommend.
