Gyms and gym memberships?

Way fewer people early morning and virtually everyone there is focused at getting their workout in. This! I started going @ 5AM in December, and it's such a welcome change. The gym is relatively empty until around 5:45/6:00, when it starts to pick up. I usually go from 5:00-6:30, so at least half the time is no competition with other people for equipment.

The social part I get, but I can do without the peacocks and the selfie monsters who are clearly there to build their Instagram followers, not their muscle definition. Goodlife is horrible for it, but that's because it's the most convenient and accessible gym across Canada.
