I thought that research showed that their tacos didn't actually contain meat, it was all hooves and meat byproduct or something like that? Or was that Taco Bell?

Hey Malcolmk14 is there anything special tacotime does to cook that beef the way they have it?
If you really like it, Safeway sells the tacotime beef seasoning.

I've always wondered, are the crisp meat burritos made in store or flash frozen and you guys just toss them into the fryer per order?

Must be Taco Bell. Taco Time definitely uses (or used, when I worked there) real ground beef.

Crisp Meat Burritos contain a meat filling that is about 3 parts beef and 1 part melted cheese. Back when I used to make them we would make a batch of beef, dump in the required amount of cheese and mix it up till melted, then roll them into Crisp Meat Burritos, then freeze them in store.

I don't know if they are pre-made now but they never used to be.

I use the Taco Time Burrito seasoning, it's really good.
