We like the nachos at FATs and Yuk Yuks.

Kensington Pub used to have some decent nachos. I haven't had them in a while but they figured out the key to good nachos...layering. You GOTS to layer that nacho plate up right! Guacamole is very important but if you blow your wad of cheese on the top chips and leave a whole pile of chips with nothing but a few onions on it, then forget you pal.

Don't know if they still do, but Moose McGuire's up in the NW used to have the best nachos...huge and layered.

Had them about 6 months ago and they were great - maybe we just caught them on a good day though. I volunteer to test them again - for quality assurance purposes.

I really appreciate it! Since I live in Cochrane it would be quite the trek for something we aren't sure about!

Its not your "normal" plate of delicious cheesy, spicy, guacamole-a-plenty nachos but for something different yet as equally wonderful tasting, the White Spots "Shanghai Chicken Nachos" are very good. Everything taste great but the wonton crisps in place of the nacho chip are what makes this appetizer to die for.

I was recently at Belfry (8th Ave between 3rd and 4th street SW)? Their pizzas are quite good and their Nachos are above average IMO.

I'm really cynical about the fan 960's "calgarys best whatever" contests. It's just a bunch of pubs that pay to be in it then people vote on that.

Earl's Poke Nachos are extremely tasty albeit not traditional at all.
