Maybe so, but it's still not good professional service imo. He didn;t do Frolik any favours by trying to embarrass the team and Peters.

I agree, it was a poor tactic. All the same. Its time to move on. last Weeks twitter comments are old news. The ramifications of that comment will only last as long as fans want it to.

I think Tre is trying to trade him as quick as possible. Don't think Peters and Management liked the way Frolik and his agent handled the situation.

No one is happier about players fighting for more icetime than Peters and Treliving. Its not an accident that they have more players than spots. Players wanting more ice time, and then going out and proving they deserve it it exactly what the coaching and management wants.

Disagree, Treliving knows that Frolik will be a key piece come playoff time. I would be shocked if he is moved before the off-season.

He is a good two-way forward, that can take on PK time. Not real easy to replace.

Frolik does not play PK under Peters though. I think they look to move him this year but won’t do it unless it makes some sense.

But he is more than capable of doing so, that is the kind of depth you need once people start getting dinged up, after a long season.

Plus if one of the top four PK forwards is in the box, you need him.

No one is untradeable though and losing his salary (high for his present position on the roster) is not all bad. If the right deal comes along, move him.

Right now he and Peters have to get on the same page, and that's more on Frolik IMO. Peters has moved guys up and down the lineup with abandon. Frolik can be one of those guys.

The Flames would be crazy to trade Frolik before the summer. He is gone after then I bet though.
