300 ml Almond Milk
1 scoop Garden of Life Chocolate Meal Replacement
Ice
1 bananna

Plus I juice ginger and lemon mixed with a sprinkle of cayenne pepper and 2 ml echinacea

1 shot

For breakfast every morning. Gets me all the nutrients I need.

I like a proper bullet style juicer over a blender, much easier to clean and tends to chop the solids up finer than a blender.

Every morning it's the same... though I know I should change it up.

1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup cranberries (while in season, otherwise, mixed fruit)
banana
3/4 cup 3% yogurt
kale branch
1/2 cup protein powder
dash of orange juice for flavour
Water

Blueberries/berries I find frozen is best, I thaw a single portion every day, it's cheaper frozen, and I find the blueberries to be larger frozen. Fresh berries are $$$.

I drink the whole thing within a minute or two of blending to prevent stratification.

Will peruse this thread for new ideas.

I'd give frozen fruit a try just from a cost and convenience perspective. From what I've read, frozen are just as good as fresh.

Sweet Jesus man! I take it you don't have to eat for the rest of the day after this? That's an enormous smoothie.

It makes 6 glasses worth. It's for more than 1 person.

I use frozen fruit all the time, it takes as good as fresh, doesn't mess up the consistency and is a lot more cost effective. I have the Ninja blender that uses the single serving cups so I just eyeball the amounts but every day I use:

greek yogurt
half a banana
a quarter of an avocado
hand full of spinach
a little coconut oil
a dash of turmeric
a dash of cinnamon
frozen mango
frozen barriers
almond milk

any frozen fruit works if you don't want to use mango or berries.

I am looking for a way to get away from the yogurt though, I'm just nervous about using oats. Do you have to soak them or anything first?

Awesome suggestion for the frozen fruit, its way cheaper, and I picked up a field berry mix that's delicious.

Frozen Fruit is just the easiest and probably cheapest thing to do. Any mixed berry mix needs a little extra something to sweeten it but then again my recipe is pretty barebones.

1 cup frozen mixed fruit (I've been enjoying the pineapple, peach, grape, strawberry frozen bag from superstore)

2 teaspoon Greek 0% fat yogurt

1 cup water

3/4 banana
