Yes, it's an x prequel with the same actress but playing the frisky old woman in her younger days. They filmed the two on the same property back to back, I believe.

This one looks like it has a little more pizzazz and is giving the lead actress the chance to shine (which she didn't really get in X), and is leaning into the madness in a fun way.
