It’s nice to be able to retain Carter.

The Hurricanes understand Jeff needing to test free agency for the last time in his career and we’re very excited that Jeff decided to resign and seen Carolina as the best chance to win a CPHL championship

The Leafs desperately needed some relatively cheap but quality defencemen to fill out the blueline and despite overpaying for both, feel we accomplished that with Gudas and Smith.

One spot left to fill.

From the math, looks like I was second on two targets. Even if I hit on the next batch, it looks like I'm heading to the trade market after UFA.

Wild happy to upgrade the backup after overcommitting to BSD
Our recent pattern is to over commit to a backup, buy him out and sign a new one. Rinse and repeat
Hopefully this is the end of that

With 4 big adds, STL is really happy and should be able to round out a competitive roster for this season and work towards righting the ship and stop “singing the Blues”.
