Control: Ultimate Edition was on sale on the PS store so I went ahead and bought it. It is a really fun game, I am surprised by how much I am enjoying it. Love the combat and the storyline is actually quite interesting. Looks good on my PS5 being a PS4 game.

It's a total trip, I liked it too. Great design, story and concept.

Loved Control - super intriguing concept and the story was peak X-Files and the setting peak Brutalism!
I actually think it would make a phenomenal movie or series.
Great game w/ a minor quibble: maybe a tiny bit repetitive as there wasn't a ton of different enemy designs; they just got stronger...
Looking forward to seeing a sequel on PS 5 with full ray tracing!

OK so the question that’s probably been asked a bunch in here…what’s the most effective way to find one??? I did some quick online shopping searching and couldn’t find any other than what looks like Walmart online for like $1000.
I am getting really excited about the first AEW wrestling game that had some leaks drop yesterday and a showcase reveal coming up on the 12th. I am no longer really a wrestling fan but WCW/NWO revenge, No Mercy, Def Jam were the best wrestling/fighting games I remember when I was younger. This game looks to be made by the same company and appears to be very similar to No Mercy which I think is the best game on the N64. I was a huge wrestling fan during the Attitude days and based on some of the gameplay I have watched online this game is going to rule.
Could have paid for one month of PS Plus Extra since Stray is included in that.
If I could find a ps5 at a reasonable price I would have done just that . I haven't so I didn't. I've always been an Xbox/ pc guy. The last ps I owned was the ps when it debuted in 1995. Spyro, crash banicote,twisted metal wwf smack down etc was my jam.
After the xbox came out I feel the edge has go to Microsoft untill the Spiderman series which is a ps exclusive. Older ps exclusives are now porting over to pc so as A owner of a high end pc Assad series x I only wNt a ps for like 2 or 3 games.
On a unrelated note I own all the Nintendo s since launch except the original which I inherited from my mom but I don't feel the need to upgrade on the switch as I never use it as a portable so the oled has no bearing to me.

For $3 Vampire Survivors is great value in a game.
I was keeping up with all the patches and new achievements for a while. And then I got distracted by Elden ring and now I have a bunch to catch up on lol.
I enjoyed the gameplay and the world and didn't mind running around everywhere. But since finishing it, it sounds like they've added some quality of life stuff like turning off the pick up animations if you haven't looked into that already.
Yeah that helps. I think I did read about that but had forgotten. Too bad there isn't a speed up for climbing. My god, there's so much climbing.

I'm partially replaying AC Odyssey on my new PS5, only played it on my PS4 before. Looks ok with HDR once you fiddle with the settings. I totally forgot about the random new update Korfu missions Ubisoft released for the game recently and just activated it, it looks so good! Clear graphical boost and just general touch ups for the new missions and area, I wish they could do this for the entire game. Better, tighter camera angle too, the zoomed out angle was my biggest issue with Odyssey. Once I'm done I don't know how I'm going to be able to go back to the clearly inferior looking main game after this haha.
Anyway, just wanted to say the new update seems (and looks) good if you played Odyssey but didn't try the new content.
