I don’t know about radioactive rocks, but I’d definitely vote for an inanimate carbon rod instead of PP.

It’s such a low bar for the CPC this time around yet they’re gonna screw it up. Had they just left O’Toole alone they’d probably be looking at a win.

I mean let's not get ahead of ourselves, it's far from clear that an election is happening any time soon.

When you lose your job as interest rates tick up as a result of JT’s mismanaged financial policies and printing money for hand outs I think it will be you crying.

Won’t you also be crying if that occurs? This seems like a weird comeback.

Line 3 replacement also received final approval under JT.

Anyone who wants to push the narrative that JT is so hostile to the Alberta oil and gas sector needs to answer why it is that more oil egress has been approved/actually started construction under JT than Harper.

You also make a great point about the well clean up. That was a direct subsidy for oil and gas companies during a significant downturn, clearly something only an anti Alberta zealot would do.

Finally, let's not forget that the whole reason cabinet can have final say on these projects is because the Harper government changed the rules to make it so.
It was a Conservative government that created the mechanism that gives JT the power to kill projects.

A lot of people really need to examine their belief that Conservative governments are better for the Alberta economy/have Alberta's interests in mind, because it's AT BEST a wash.
Its even more of a wash when you look at production. Since Justin took power Canadian production has grown almost 1,000,000 BOE, hardly crippling. Under Harper is was 1,300,000 BOE but he has 3 extra years. If Justin gets another term, Oil and Gas growth should eclipse those under Harper.

Some legacy and liberals issues

https://nationalpost.com/news/canada...da-is-now-last

Stole someone’s copy job from Reddit - From the article:

•We have the most unaffordable housing in the OECD
•We have the world’s most expensive wireless costs
•We have the lowest rate of acute care beds among peer countries
•Two of the planet’s “bubbliest” real estate markets are in Canada
•We racked up COVID debt faster than anyone else
•The Port of Vancouver is (almost) the most inefficient in the world
•Toronto Pearson is the world’s most-delayed airport
•We’re one of the world’s worst economies for foreign investment
•We drive the most fuel-inefficient vehicles in the world

Haha, my first mortgage was ~9.5, I was young and knew nothing and coworkers thought it was great and I should lock in for as long as possible.

About 7 years later people were getting 3% and 5000 cash for moving a mortgage from one bank to another.

We have been spoiled for a long time with interest rates so low they feel non existent.

? Yes, I totally meant that by "Some legacy and liberal issues".
I get its flawed grammar, but you truly thought I meant its all the Liberals fault or just being an ass over poor grammar?

Ah yes, but has income growth kept up with the cost of living?

I love this debate with my older family members, who conveniently forget that their 18% interest rate was against a $70k mortgage.
