EDIT: The Hitmen have posted a "printable" schedule that shows the revisions: https://cdn.whl.ca/uploads/calgary_h...M_Schedule.pdf
It looks like there are still 4 conflicts between the Wranglers and Hitmen... - Friday, November 25 - Wranglers @ 1pm / Hitmen @ 7pm
- Sunday, November 27 - Wranglers @ 1pm / Hitmen @ 4pm
- Wednesday, February 22 - Hitmen @ 11am / Wranglers @ 7pm
- Sunday, March 26 - Hitmen @ 2pm / Wranglers @ 7pm

First look at some Wranglers merch. Available now at the Saddledome.

The Hitmen have 4 preseason games: A home and home against Red Deer on September 9 & 10, and a home and home against Edmonton a week later on September 16 & 17. The home game on the 9th will be at Seven Chiefs and the home game on the 17th will be at the Siksika Deerfoot Sportsplex.
The AHL doesn't typically play many preseason games because most of their players already played in the NHL preseason. If the Wranglers do play any, it will probably just be a quick home and home against Abbotsford a couple days before the season starts.

I think it's extremely doubtful the Hitmen will be playing the majority of their games in the Saddledome. But until there is a firm annoiuncement, who really knows for sure.

I'm not sure how much more firm an announcement can get than: "The Hitmen have confirmed their schedule and venues for the 2022-23 season. This includes 28 home games at the Scotiabank Saddledome and six home games at Seven Chiefs Sportsplex on Tsuut'ina Nation."

Well that's unfortunate. I assumed the Scorch thing was a rumor and not just fanfare. Appears they'll ignore the hype around a rebirth for Scorch for something more on brand with the Wrangler/Cowboy aspect. Watch it be a Rodeo Clown.

Any non-Scorch mascot will be roundly booed and shunned into humiliation.

Don't change a thing about his appearance --- keep the Flaming A.

They should partner with the Calgary Fire Department and release a Scorch announcement video

Things rarely happen by acclaim.
Everyone is in agreement that it should be Scorch. Will the club do the right thing and give the fans what they want?
