Don't want to get ahead of things as the Canucks could still lose to the Predators, but Round 2 for the Canucks could be delayed a bit anyway as Pearl Jam already has Rogers Arena this weekend in Vancouver.

Well, if Canucks win tonight and Oilers win tomorrow, they'll probably start Round 2 on Sunday.

Then you have the big issue, which is Pearl Jam, who have Rogers Arena booked from May 4-6. While they are only playing on May 4 and 6, it would be unfeasible to convert the arena back to hockey in between the two dates. This could cause a multi-day break if the series is pushed to Game 7, which in turn would cause scheduling issues for the start of Round 2.

My guess is if a 7th game is needed I guess they have found a solution to accommodate the Pearl Jam concert. My point is more related to round 2, might be best to avoid a May 5 start for round 2 - if the Canucks are in round 2

I hate them ever since '94 and having to live with the aftermath. The only team in any sport that I truly hate.

I hate them too but I hate Edmonton more and if the Canucks get to the West finals we get a better pick. They will get killed by whomever they meet there anyhow.

I’m not cheering for the Canucks. I’m cheering for an Oilers 2nd round loss.

I'm cheering for both of them to lose in the 1st round. If Las Vegas and Nashville win we get the 27th pick.

Well Nashville only has themselves to blame for being in this mess.

Vancouver has been ass, they got a 3rd stringer in net and they still lost.

LA is the worry playoff of all time.

No they won’t, all the first round conference series will be complete before they start round 2. Not going to have a game one or two of a series and game 7 of another

If they lose in the first round, the 1st round pick improves. If they make it to the 3rd round, the 4th becomes a 3rd and improves by 10-12 spots (or whatever).

I would prefer the former, but just do one or the other, Canuckleheads!

Good game through the first. Canucks came to play and Silovs with some nice glove saves.

Yup. You know when the Canucks have more than 2 shots in a period they came to play. Might get 20! lol

Yes however if they win they have a much better chance of eliminating the Grease than Nashville. I take that into consideration as well.
