Hoping Pacific do us a solid tonight and take all 3 from Forge.

Also this is the latest rumour on CPL expansion. Fraser Valley was a CPL target for 2019 but their stadium plans fell through, and the brain trust behind that bid formed Pacific instead.
Glass City is more connected than most but take with a lump of salt. The contact I have in Vancouver who is fairly well connected says "not yet".

I wanted to post that I have made my prideraiser donation today. I'm not posting that for kudos or anything, but just to encourage others who might have pledged through that initiative to follow up that intention!
And last I saw, Pacific was tied with Forge, so that would be decent.

Forge has a pretty tough schedule in terms of turn around in the next stretch. Starting on the 8th they will play 4 games in 10 days. I guess that's what rearranging the schedule for a tournament you should have never qualified for will do for you. Granted the opposition is not class, but that will make them dropping a few games all the more sweet.

I caught the end of the Pacific v Forge match, and it was pretty entertaining. I guess we can consider that 2 points dropped for Forge, which is just fine by me.
And Pacific still needs to raise their camera up a bit. Really tough to watch at such a low angle.

It was either the team owners or the mayor that stated the power line above the cameras will be gone next year, so when that happens they can raise the cameras higher.

Among Pacific fans the hydro pole is simultaneously adored and despised, not unlike the single floodlight. It is already entrenched within team lore.

Max Crepeau has returned to the Whitecaps, so Carducci is now Canada's backup keeper going into Tuesday's away match against Cuba. I highly doubt he would get the start just for the hell of it but his chances of getting his first international cap just went up.

Sure would love to see this happen. Moncton would be a great city to have in the CPL, and would create an instant rivalry with Halifax.

Sounds like Carducci is getting lots of questions from his national teammates about CPL.
Quote:
As such, Carducci has fielded queries about the CPL from his Canadian national team cohorts.
“There definitely have been questions about the league, and I think that’s great,” the Cavalry shot-stopper said. “The guys are following along and they’re aware of the league and its growth, so I have had questions from the guys about how it’s been and what it’s been like. That’s good to see.
“It’s Canada’s league. All these guys are rooting for it and stand behind it, and I think you’ll see more faces continue to come from the league and be involved with the national team at the same time.”
Among those onlookers is Carducci’s new mentor between the sticks, Borjan, who spoke highly of the CPL, too.
“I’ve been following the CPL, actually,” Borjan said. “They did a really good job with that league, because we needed that in Canada. There’s a lot of talent, which shows with Marco coming here with the national team. It’s really exciting.
“Next year it’s going to be even better. This is what Canada needs.”

I know we've got a few guys going up this afternoon.
For anyone still in Calgary, we've got tables at the Rose and Crown and Kildare's booked to watch the game.

Just to be clear, if Cavalry FC win tonight the Wildrose cup is presented after the game?

Wish I could watch it tonight at the R+C, but I've got Cirque tickets. Should have looked at the Cavs schedule first...

Is there a re-sell market for Cavalry FC? Kijiji doesn't allow ticket postings anymore, so what do people use?

I've had some success selling here on CP. Its hard to sell tickets at face value though. The supply is to great for that.
You can also try here. https://www.reddit.com/r/CavalryFC/c...change_thread/
