That 9-1 slaughter might have been the best thing to happen at that point, seems to have brought out the fight in the team.

Fun to see 3M line put up another elite performance. Another 3 points for Tkachuk, ho hum

I fully support Peters' line blending ways. Nice to have an actual coach again.

I'm not that worried about who's scoring and who's not at this point. It would obviously be nice to see Bennett, Jankowski and Neal put up more points, but the season is young and the team as a whole is among the best scoring teams in the league. Different guys are going to have ups and downs.

People better learn how to spell Juuso Välimäki, because he's going to be around, making more highlight reel moves

Defense still isn't quite there, but oh Smith. Worst SV% in the league ...and still on pace for 59 games. One of those is going to have to change soon.

That Neal shot is the kind to get him back on track. A real goal scorers goal, and an important, clutch goal at that.

Anyone notice Monahan seems to skate faster away from Gaudreau? We should split them up Monahan probably gets lazy playing with Gaudreau

Lindholm is praising the Lord again.

Rasmus seems to have a great personality for the team overall. I didn't know that about him until the game where he was mic'd and he was just chirping and yapping the entire time. Guys like him matter and can be such big part of building the right cultures. Overall the team has a lot of quiet leaders, so having a guy with a bit of yap to him is good. I dare say he has a bit of Ville in him.

Look where he was too. If Neal was having second thoughts about shooting that shot, easy tap pass to Lindholm for a wide open one timer. It's what had Varlamov not fully challenging the Neal shot. And if there was a rebound, he was going to get it.

That wasn't a penalty five years ago, let alone 20. And it shouldn't have been one last night, even though it was a Flame victimized by a suicide pass.
He left his feet, that is automatically a charge. Was 20 years ago, was 5 years ago, is today.

Having 5 players in the top 25 > one Mcdavid in the top 10.

Wow. Long time to take for first post.
I thought I saw the same thing. Rasmus points at Juuso and skates right to him. If true pretty cool.

I still miss Versteeg telling the opposition no one likes them, get off the ice or your gettting a beating

I wonder. Ville was pretty dirty though.

Why are you allowed to bring back your goalie when you are icing the puck?
