Finished season 1 of Yellowstone. It looks fantastic but all in all, it wasn’t that great. Really kind of stilted storytelling even though some of the characters are interesting.
I’ve heard it gets better.
It gets better.
My review of season 1 may have been more favorable than yours but I didn't think as highly as Yellowstone after season one as I did after season 2 and then season 3.

IMO season 1 is pretty mediocre but the series improves dramatically in season 2 forward.

I like Yellowstone, but at times is had a Suits feel to me.
I can't really put my finger on it, but the Duttons are always the smartest in the room regardless of anyone else's experience.
Again, I enjoy the show, but yeah just get that Suits feeling.
Also, we can all agree that ranch is nothing but a PTSD factory right?

Clarkson's Farm on Prime is great. If you like the antics of the Grand Tour then you'll love this show. It seems more "real" and the cast is great! I'm really enjoying it.

Is there a searchable site where I can read a synopsis of episodes of TV shows? For example, let’s say I want to read summaries of each episode of Homeland.
I need a new TV series to get into (old or new) v2

Lots of entertainment websites do episode by episode breakdowns and summaries. But I feel like they aren’t going to be easily searchable or catalogued.

Just finished Clarkson's Farm. Holy hell...remove the f***ery from Top Gear and the Grand Tour and you get this show. The way they told the stories and the hardships of being a farmer was incredible. The cast was just great. It's such a good show and I bet given most of us live in Calgary and may have grown up on a farm, can relate to everything. Eight episodes, 40-55 minutes each....well worth it.

I want Kaleb to get his own show. That guy is great!
And selfishly, I want them to rope James May into having to work for Kaleb. I would watch that show.

didn't realize it had been renewed, but Black Summer 2 is on Netflix...
Its a fun zombie show that feels a little more urgent, imo, than other shows...it was also filmed locally in and around Calgary, so good to promote a local producation
