Alright, not the gold (I think the scoring was generous for the Yank) but silver and bronze!

Silver and Bronze!

I thought the American was deserving of gold. A very exciting run and the announcers mentioned he was more creative on the upper section.

Still think McMorris' 2nd run was best.

Both amazing and heartbreaking. Gold was ours to lose and it was expected we'd have at least 2 Canadians on the podium but hard not to be proud!

Congrats Parrot and McMorris

I'm not qualified to know if we were robbed or not.

From my untrained eye I felt like the American kid was flashier and less technical than McMorris.

Thought McMorris landed the toughest run, Gerard landed the most flawless run but even the commentators were shocked by the score. I’m wondering if McMorris did his second run last if the judges would’ve given him a higher score. Last runs seemed to be scored a lot higher, McMorris should’ve been second at least in my opinion. Oh well, this is a subjective sport

What’s with this dollar store crap they’re giving to these athletes on the podium? Looks like it belongs on the dashboard of a Subaru WRX.

hey it's just something for the fans at the venue. They'll get their flowers and medals at the evening plaza show.

This women's short program is pretty anti-climatic since the top 5 teams have pretty much advanced. Canada, USA, Japan, Italy and OAR.

Waiting for the finals to start.

Kurt Browning keeps saying it's all washed out but reading the rules on the official website it says they are added together.

So we'll see in about an hour.
