The slopestyle colour commentator is just awful. He has no idea who his audience is. Entertaining event, but almost impossible to listen to.

Short track is fun, some good crashes tonight. It was a close call for Dion who finished 4th in his heat but got through after a judges review.

Big disappointment as Jamie MacDonald falls in her heat in the Short Track Women's 500M. However, the other 2 Canadians Kim Boutin and Marianne St. Gelais qualify for the Quarter-Finals

Charles Hamelin BARELY advances to the A Final, beating Yira Seo out by .002!!!
Samuel Girard crashed but WILL advance to the A Final as an advancement!!
Pascal Dion finishes 3rd in what was a crazy heat and will compete in the B Final.

9 skaters qualified for the 1500m final. It's going to be a crazy one.

Don't envy these short track officials at all. What a difficult job they have determining who is at fault.

Disappointing 10 minutes for Canada.
Ivanie Blondin and Isabelle Weidemann finish 6th and 7th respectively in the Women's Long Track 3000M.
Samuel Girard and Charles Hamelin finish 4th and 7th respectively in the Short Track Men's 1500M A Final but Hamelin is penalized.
No medals.

4 medals in 2 minutes for the Dutch and still 3 of the medal winners are disappointed.
Best first day of any Olympics for the Netherlands and we could be leading the medal table after day one.
Great start!
