Keep an eye on r/grandprixtravel.
Here’s a recent thread on prices and discounts. But I don’t see anything specifically providing the discount.
https://www.reddit.com/r/GrandPrixTr...nts_appearing/
Right now all the new threads are about Australia because their on sale just started. But I’m sure you’ll see more discussion about Vegas in the coming weeks.
Another recent one talking about the 30% offer.
https://www.reddit.com/r/GrandPrixTr...cket_analysis/
This comment in particular has some anecdotal insight.
Quote:
Ok, here’s an update for everyone: talked with my F1 experience host yesterday who has been hitting me up to buy tickets as we were full price T-Mobile grandstand holders last year.
2 weeks ago best he could do in SG6 was $1950. Dropped lower with that 30% off code we all got, but wait, yesterday I asked again and got it for $1250. So almost 50% off. Good enough for me so I purchased the 6 tickets I needed. Interestingly, you don’t pick a seat, you request where you want and the team will assign it. He made it seem like though any section was possible so he locked in my SG6 and I could specify near an aisle, near top, bottom, etc….
Moral of story: what we see available online is nothing of what is truly there. For those only looking for a couple seats, you should score big last minute deals. I’m coming from FL with 6 so hard to guarantee being close.
|
I saw another comment saying if you call the LV ticket office they’ll offer discounts you can’t find elsewhere. And another thread saying some people got upgrades because certain sections are no longer being offered due to underselling.
Of course you could also use vivid seats or stub hub and the like. Plus for F1 there are several other resellers who seem fairly legit. Many people think waiting it out until last minute will provide big discounts because sales are slow.

I’d also Keep an eye out for deals. Apparently it’s selling lower than expectations. Just saw a 30% off offer on Reddit the other day. Although I’ve read ticket sales at all races have improved since Max stopped dominating.

This is obviously anecdotal, but I sell accommodations for big events - F1 Vegas sold way better last year than this year. Last year I was sold out by now and this year I've had to offer discounts instead. It seems likely that ticket sales have the same trend.

I think I found the discount.

There is a new F1UNLOCKED Ticketmaster link giving 30% off G/A, sphere zone, West Harmon, and main grandstand. Makes pricing better, but I am waiting for 50% off. This pricing is through 10/10.

There’s also a newsletter you can apparently sign up for that offers discounts.

So if I’m tired of getting ripped off and cancelled by airbnbs can you help with accommodations for Montreal GP? I’ve got an airbnb booked for 2025 for a steal of a deal but I’m 90% sure he’s gonna cancel on me and relist for triple the price.

Sorry, I don't have anything in Montreal.
For AirBNB during events I'd only book from a superhost - you can't cancel on people and keep that status, so you're a lot less likely to see stuff like that.

Actually after a bad experience a few years ago, that’s exactly what I’ve done. I only use superhosts. Fingers crossed this works out.
