Decent race. Great job by Bearman in a tough debut with Sainz getting appendicitis. KMag with a couple stupid moves earned those 20s in penalties but he did a great job for Hulk to get P10.
Are we witnessing the implosion of RBR tho? Rumours of Marko getting suspended, Jos doing Jos things, Max not backing Horner..it seems a bit surreal.

It was ok I guess? I don’t love this track and with no safety cars after Lance crashed not much happened. Other than Norris and Hamilton losing positions when they pitted, none of the top 10 changed after lap 25.

I mean, so far they're 1-2 at every race this year, after putting in the most dominant season in F1 history last year.
If I was running the show I might be inclined to get rid of Marko and tell Jos to shut up if he wants access just to keep the drama down, but really it doesn't seem to be affecting the on-track results. So I guess if it makes for a more exciting drive to survive that probably helps the sport on the margins.
Congrats this week go to Agulati who wins the week by 1 point over TimSJ, nice call with Hulk in P10. Both teams had 4 correct slotted and Agulati had 9/10.
Agulati also takes a 6pt lead over Woob in the overall standings, but the team in P3 is better looking
Speede5...sorry man, we made the change for Thursday entry deadline for Saturday races/Friday night qualifying before the season started. First missed picks.
Also...with Bearman getting a seat because of an emergency appendicitis...should we leave Sainz in?? We all made the picks with him expected to drive and it wasnt until Sat morning when he had emergency surgery. 3 teams had Sainz slotted where Bearman finished (TimSJ/speede5/dammage79).
I got 2 more paid entries, thanks everyone. Up to 10 total, with 2 more race weekends to get in on the action.
Next race is Australia, 2 weeks. Thursday midnight deadline (qualy is Friday 11pm).
This track is kinda dumb. The only overtaking spot is a DRS zone, and the corners that follow it. How do you make a track that long with that many corners and so few braking zones?
I hope RBR explodes so the second half of the season at least gets a chance at being exciting. 24 RBR wins is gonna be super lame.

Bearman had some fresh eyes and input on the race. He said that after the start it felt like 50 qualifying laps. So very hard on the body but basically all out, everywhere

All good I knew the rule and I even thought about it earlier in the day.
I think you should leave Bearman in for Sainz, despite it helping me, it was my thought during the race before I even checked the results.

I think we will leave Bearman in. I think it happened in the past (Ricciardo breaking hand in qualy? Russell in for Hamilton in Bahrain?) and we left it...sucks for everyone the same that way.

Not only hard on the body...but the car as well...look at his headrest (insert joke over Ferrari build quality here). He was complaining about it in qualy as well IIRC, wanted a thinner one.
