A couple reminders

Since the deadline is passed and the season is over as of tomorrow, a couple of reminders
- If teams claim someone on waivers, they don't get to use them in the playoffs.
- If you are wanting to release a player, and your season is complete, you now have to wait until the rollover so the buyout is applied to next season's cap
- Players released or already in the data base can't be signed as free agents
- Players NOT in the data base can be

No please do not trade. It's too hard to track while we are still playing.
You can start to negotiate but do not submit deals.
basically because you can't trade or release players rosters are frozen until we finish the season.

How does UFA negotiation work? Asking for a friend.

We will provide those full instructions but basically

Pending UFAs can be re-signed by their existing teams, based on pre-defined 3 year amounts that will be released after re-rates. Any UFA being re-signed is a 3 year, 1 way deal. Teams must also have the available cap space to re-sign those players. There is no negotiation. You choose to sign them to those amounts or not. In which case they become UFAs.

Those not re-signed get offered in batches where the player is awarded to the team with the highest guaranteed dollars (term*$*AHL%). Again, teams must have the cap space for any offer they make to these players.
