Its totally a matter of taste. Lots of people love those kinds of movies, thats why they get made.
'This is the End' is one of the few movies that I didnt even finish it was that terrible and its also why I'm done with Rogen/Franco.

But the North Koreans will be risking death to watch a Seth Rogen film, seems like a bad trade off.

If you wanted to watch a dufus smook weed and get naked occasionally, just rewatch any Rogen movies. They are all pretty much the same anyway.

Really? I'm pretty much the exact opposite of your views. I love Seth Rogan and Jay Baruchel and am pretty proud they are Canadians. Now Justin Bieber, on the other hand...

I had cooled on Rogen until I saw the Rafi and Dirty Randy episode of The League a couple of weeks ago. Absolute Gold.
Would watch this movie in the theater despite threats of my demise from anonymous computer geeks.

NK says it is all a childish plot on behalf of the US government to frame them. LOL
Serious consequences for US if we don't conduct a joint investigation.

Gotta love NK's circular logic on this one. Serious consequences if the movie isn't pulled, and then serious consequences if the US doesn't help them prove it wasn't them.
It's too bad the movie (from highlights I've seen anyway) seems to show Un as a legitimate scary leader. It'd be far more fun, and far more accurate, to show him as the whining, petulant, doughy man-boy he really is.
As I said in the other thread, he probably really does think he's some sort of god walking around with mortals. That always happens in these regimes when the leader who built up the real power hands it down to their spoiled brat kid. And Sony agreeing to pull the movie makes him think he's won some sort of victory here.
What a tool.
All that said, I don't think the movie was going to be that good. I was done after 'This is the End' too.

Surprised at all the Rogen hate. I totally get how his style isn't for everyone, but it seems almost across the board hate in this thread. Didn't expect that. I LOVED This is the End.
I wasn't dying to see the Interview or anything, but I still can't believe Sony pulled it over this. I love how Obama even chirped them about it
