I hadn't listened to this in a while, but I stumbled across the mid 2000's Canadian band The Constantines in my playlist recently. A very underrated band, worth the listen.
Great band. Kensington Heights is probably my favorite record of theirs. Their frontman Bry Webb has released a couple of excellent solo albums that you might enjoy.

Saw them and The Weakerthans in 2009 and it was an amazing show. I think I enjoyed The Constantines more. I bought Kensington Heights at that show.
