Ended up getting club seats nearly 45 minutes after the tickets went on sale. Good job on my buddy for sticking with it, I gave up at like 1120.

Which is already like $300 cheaper than it was at 11am. Sliding scale I guess.

This is the new reality of live music with physical album sales a fraction of what they were. We all stream and download music, this is how we pay for it. Even RATM can't buck the system, their only concession gained was likely the charity portion of some sales.

The promoters have pricing maxed out, they know what they're doing, this is what it is now. People supporting scalpers in the past didn't help either, now they just price them out and we all got used to it.

I probably could've waited a bit and bought better seats as they were released. The problem is I wasn't willing to risk not getting a ticket, and a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. I didn't get great seats...but I got seats.

Well it's what the market will bear. The way to really curb scalping is just make the tickets non-transferable and have you present the card you bought them with at the door. But that's not great for consumers who buy tickets and find themselves unable to go and they're stuck.

New Order is touring with Pet Shop Boys. There’s no Calgary date but this might be worth a trip to Vancouver.

Going to Winnipeg so I assume they have issues with the Dome.

It did look like this tour’s stage design was more elaborate than previous.

I’ve seen tool 3 times. I’d love to see them again but not worth the trip I don’t think.

Tempest live.

Spoiler!

Kraftwerk announced NA tour dates. That's big! I never thought that day would come.

Probably isn't going to appeal to many, but PEARS are playing with Single Mothers at the Palomino on April 11.
I'm personally super excited!

The Rage show is postponed.

Their tour ends in September in Europe. Guessing the Calgary show will be rebooked for sometime in October around the new Coachella dates.

I'm definitely fine with that and glad they haven't cancelled it (yet), so there is still hope.

I took the plunge and bought tickets for the Vancouver show the day they came out. New Order may be 25 years past their best-before date, but they're still a bucket list band for me and the coronavirus better not F this up.

They’re one my favourite bands and I’ve never seen them live so I got tickets too, but it’s not looking good if this is to be believed.

https://consequenceofsound.net/2020/...urn-fall-2021/

I won’t be going to any shows until a vaccines is widely available.
