La Liga is a good damn joke. Just because of a couple of injuries, they allow Barcelona to sign a player outside of the transfer window ... so they go and sign Martin Brathwaite from Leganes, who are not allowed to replace him and are now stuck in relegation battle without their top striker.
They'll happily bend over backwards for the big guns to ensure a big title race. Who cares about the smaller clubs, right? Absolutely embarrassing.

That's not exactly right. They didn't bend over for anything or allow them anything.
Barcelona took advantage of an (admittedly dumb) rule allowing them to apply to make new signings if a player is ruled out for more than five months and that the player they bring in must be a free agent or already playing in Spain and that they can not play in Uefa competition.
But yes, it's a stupid rule as what it has done has allowed Barca to pass their problem onto Leganes. But it's not a case of bending over for the big guns when the little clubs would be allowed to do the same in the same scenario.
The rule is dumb and simply shouldn't exist.

I wish assistant referees would raise the flag on offside moves instead of letting them finish the move. So frustrating for defenders when it’s known they’re offside

That assist reminded me so much of an assist he did for the whitecaps in his least season there, was there live, the game he had a goal and two assists, except this time he’s doing it against Chelsea in the Champions league. So happy for the guy.
It's an ok result for me. They have been very poor since Christmas time and have injuries everywhere. Overall they have had a better season than expected.
Focus on EPL and hope that you can attract some serious talent in the summer with their supposed war chest. Ziyech alone will not be enough.
It’s being reported Lewandowski is out for 4 weeks with a knee injury. Big loss, bigger impact on the Bundesliga race than Champions League as he should be back in time for the next round should Bayern advance
