Is it possible to park without the 1km "march to the match"? When I tried to park for the last game, they wouldn't let me into the closer lot without a pass.

Bus leaves from the Rose & Crown at 6. We only have one bus for tonight as I don't think demand is as high for the weeknight games.

The closer lot is one of the perks for season ticket holders. They didn't have the longer walk for non-pass holders for the initial game, but that led to traffic chaos.

I don’t know how they screwed up field conditions on a day like today but they did.

Also a mow and line mark. Pretty disappointing.

Not able to get to this one or watch it...what's wrong with the field? If it's just a mow it needs, well could be some gamesmanship facing a club that plays and practices on a faster field turf.

It’s just a slow pitch and probably some spots because of the horses this past weekend. I’m watching on the app tonight and overall the field looks reasonable, but certainly not great.

I am a seasons ticket holder, but didn’t realize the difference in parking when I signed up.

I like when teams from different leagues meet. I especially like it now that I have a proper home team to cheer for.

I’ll admit to having g a bit of a soft spot for the Whitecaps. Mainly due to geography - until recently, the closest “pro” team.

But that’s all secondary now. Would love to see some giant killing happen.
