I started watching in the second, oilers have no business being even in this game. Vegas came out at the second and didn't look back. Oilers have nothing going.

Draisaitl’s been a big old nothing in this game.

Do the Oilers even has a shot on goal? I think they had 17 after the 1st period.

Ennis is the only Oiler generating anything at all.

Trade draft picks to make a run in the playoffs. Forgets to make the playoffs.
They do have a pretty tough schedule. But really it comes down to the Nashville, Minny and Winnipeg. They need to start winning.

Oilers do play the Jets on Saturday. A loss to the Jets would make things interesting.

What’s Vegas’ record since the coaching change? They were out of the POs then IIRC.

Rust gets the Penguins on the board, 2-1 Kings with twelve minutes remaining in the third period.

They showed the record and it was pretty impressive, something like 10-2-3.

Roy just missed a gimme that should've put Vegas up 4-0.

OIlers are going to claim they ran into a hot goalie. Reality, they were beaten soundly.

Standings are still tight, but it appears that Vegas is starting to run away with the division. That team is on quite a roll right now.

Oilers:

64 GP, 33-23-8, 74 points, +2 GD

Flames

64 GP, 33-25-6, 72 points, -5 GD

Anybody's ballgame at this point but I like the Flames' chances to catch Edmonton.

Followed by Nashville. Things could get very interesting in the next few days.

I don’t believe my eyes. They didn’t pick a single Oiler as a star!! Will wonders never cease!!
